Men and women are equal, right? Of course they are. This is absolutely true. That does not change simply because there are some men out there who enjoy repeating all those jokes about how women are terrible drivers. It does not change simply because, in spite of those jokes, the majority of women get better deals on car insurance than men either.
Why is that so? Statistics, of course. According to what they see, car insurance companies by and large have reason to believe that women are safer drivers.
We get less tickets. We have less accidents. We generally pass the written and practical portions of our driving tests on the very first try.
We obey traffic laws. We obey the speed limits. We do not even commit as many crimes in cars as our counterparts do.
The result? Some really inexpensive car insurance rates. Ta ta, boys!

Many of you may be wondering what commercial car insurance even is. Well, in general, most drivers will never have to worry about it — unless they have a business based out of their homes.
If you work from home, whether you are a freelancer of some type, a contractor from some type, or anything like that, then a commercial car insurance policy may be the right choice for you.
In general, however, this is only true if you frequently use your own vehicle for your job.
Sometimes, it might make more sense to get a rider policy that will add some business coverage to your current, personal policy.
On the other hand, sometimes commercial car insurance makes more sense. What you need to do is have a talk with an insurance agent to see if you qualify for this type of coverage.

First and foremost, you need to understand that there are several different options available to you in the way of paying for your car insurance premium.
For example, you can pay monthly, yearly, have no down payment or you can pay every six months. These are all options that are available to you however, you need to make sure to pick the best option not just for your budget but also for your lifestyle.
Monthly is a plan that works for me, but I know that in the long run – I am paying more than if I just paid it all up front.

That is something that is always on my mind whenever I am shopping for new car insurance and I can tell you for sure that your premium will not only depend on the many factors – such as gender, driving record, credit, etc… etc – but it will also depend on your payment plan.
