Top Myths In Car Insurance: 2
Now that we have talked about two myths about car insurance, let’s go ahead and discuss a few more! The first being that no fault insurance actually means that it is not your fault; for new drivers, this is usually what they think. No, that is not what it means; it actually means that your car insurance company will pay for the damages regardless of who’s at fault.
Next, your car insurance rate is not set by the government. Many – many people believe that this statement is the truth and to be quite frank, it isn’t. Your state’s insurance department only regulates the rates that the car insurance companies are allowed to charge, but as far as your premium – it is based off of your marital status, gender, age, where you live and your driver record.
That’s all for the myths that we have now! If you come across any more or have questions, I’d be happy to clear anything up for you!
